We are looking for an experienced Senior Attorney to join our dynamic law firm in Houston, Texas. This position is ideal for a skilled litigator who excels in handling complex commercial litigation and is committed to delivering exceptional legal outcomes. Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of complex commercial litigation, including case strategy, discovery, trial preparation, and courtroom representation.

• Draft compelling legal motions, briefs, and other documentation to effectively argue cases.

• Conduct depositions and interviews to gather critical evidence and insights.

• Provide strategic counsel to clients facing high-stakes legal disputes, ensuring their interests are prioritized.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop case strategies and mentor attorneys with less experience when needed.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, demonstrating a commitment to their success.

• Contribute to business development efforts by identifying opportunities to expand the firm’s client base.

• Stay updated on legal trends and developments to ensure cutting-edge representation.

• Use case management software to streamline workflows and maintain organized case files.• A minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial litigation, with a proven track record of handling complex cases.

• Superior research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

• Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently while maintaining a collaborative approach.

• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

• Expertise with civil litigation processes, including briefing and contract negotiations.

• Familiarity with case management software and legal tools to optimize efficiency.

• Experience with mergers and acquisitions (M& A) and other commercial law areas is preferred.

• Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset, with a drive for achieving results.
