Site Civil Construction Lead (Water) is responsible for leading projects from civil construction aspect, from planning through execution, ensuring adherence to project requirements, budgets, and quality standards. The role oversees stakeholder coordination, monitor progress, and manage billing and contractor relations to achieve timely and cost-effective project completion while maintaining safety and compliance with all regulations.

Job Purpose:

The role is responsible for leading projects from civil construction aspect, from planning through execution, ensuring adherence to project requirements, budgets, and quality standards. The role oversees stakeholder coordination, monitor progress, and manage billing and contractor relations to achieve timely and cost-effective project completion while maintaining safety and compliance with all regulations.

*Key Responsibilities of Role

Pre-construction Planning:

Engage with stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications

Develop Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and prepare detailed project proposals, including budget estimates, for management approval (NFAs)

Collaborate with design and engineering team to create and finalize project drawings, ensuring they meet project requirements and obtain necessary approvals from management

Project Construction Monitoring:

Plan, monitor, coordinate, execute, inspect, and commission internal civil projects to ensure they align with the planned timeline, budget, and quality standards

Supervise field work, including contract work, to ensure adherence to company standards, procedures, specifications, codes, and statutory compliances

Ensure the timely completion of milestones while maintaining appropriate quality, time, and budgeted costs

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (designers, consultants, internal teams, and contractor teams) to ensure smooth project delivery

Conduct daily project review meetings with the civil team and contractors to track progress and take corrective actions to complete the project as per the budgeted cost and timeline

Ensure the highest level of quality systems are enforced and maintained on-site through adherence to project quality plans, QC audits, and ISO compliances

Billing and Contractor Management:

Review and certify invoices and claims submitted by contractors and consultants, ensuring they are accurate and justified

Ensure the timely processing of invoices to maintain smooth cash flow and contractor relations

Ensure contractors adhere to safety norms, maintaining a safe working environment

Achieve cost savings through innovative approaches and modifications, constantly reviewing and identifying alternate construction methodologies for quicker project delivery

Education Qualification:
