Salary: $60,000-$80,000

Hawkins Delafield & Wood LLP is a law firm offering governmental agencies, private entities and financial institutions exceptional legal service and sophisticated counsel in public finance and infrastructure transactions.

We are seeking a Paralegal or a Project Manager to support our nationally-recognized practice. This position is located in our Ann Arbor, MI office.

The Paralegal or a Project Manager works directly with the firms attorneys throughout the lifecycle of a financing to facilitate execution of transactions and successful closings.

Such work includes:

Assisting with or conducting project diligence

Developing deal timelines and internal task-tracking mechanisms

Reviewing and drafting documents and/or closing certificates

Managing an electronic platform and assembling project records

Administrative assistance

Non-deal project coordination

Legal research, preparing government filings, drafting proposals to prospective clients, preparing billing invoices, coordinating meetings and implementing firm-wide policies and objectives locally.

Qualifications:

2-3 years of project management, transactional paraprofessional experience (preferably with experience in real estate, financial transactions, healthcare and/or general corporate work).

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Strong interpersonal, written (grammar, spelling, format) and verbal communication skills.

Ability to multi-task, take ownership of work, anticipate next steps and meet deadlines.

Ability to work both collaboratively (with all levels of the firm) and independently, as needed.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

This is a hybrid position with two days a week work-from-home flexibility.
