Position-Safety Engineer

Location : Barbil

Experience : 5 -15 Yrs

Industry: [Steel Plant]

Education-B-tech-Mechanical/Electrical +Industrial Safety course.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities-

>Assist in the development and execution of HSE policies, procedures, and

initiatives in alignment with the plant's operational goals.

>Conduct daily safety inspections and risk assessments of work areas, machinery, and processes.

>Monitor adherence to safety guidelines and provide feedback to improve safety performance.

>Report and investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports to identify root causes.

>Participate in the planning and execution of safety drills, including emergency evacuation and fire response simulations.

>Coordinate safety training programs for workers, including new employee orientations and periodic refreshers.

>Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials in compliance with environmental laws.

>Work closely with the operations team to implement control measures to minimize environmental impact.

>Maintain records related to safety audits, inspections, training, and incident reports.

>Contribute to continuous improvement in safety performance through the analysis of incident trends and development of preventive measures.
