BWC’s core hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8\:00am to 5\:00pm, however, daily start/end times may vary based on operational need across BWC departments. Most positions perform work on-site at one of BWC’s seven offices across the state. BWC offers flex-time work schedules that allow an employee to start the day as early as 7\:00am or as late as 8\:30am. Flex-time schedules are based on operational need and require supervisor approval.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Conducts digital forensic investigations on electronic evidence, ensuring forensic soundness and legal admissibility.

Provides expert-level support for data related issues too internal teams, prosecutors, and external agencies.

Manages and preserves digital evidence across various storage environments, including physical, networked, and cloud-based systems.

Utilizes specialized forensic and eDiscovery software and hardware tools (e.g., OpenText/EnCase Endpoint Investigator, Information Assurance, Axcelerate, Axiom, FTK, Cellebrite, X-Ways) for data extraction, analysis, and preservation.

Conducts complex open-source intelligence (OSINT) investigations, including analysis of social media and public records.

Oversees eDiscovery workflows, including identification, preservation, collection, review, and production of electronic data.

Maintains and administers SharePoint environments, managing user permissions, content organization, and site functionality for the Special Investigations Department.

60 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following\: creating and coordinating technical and business requirements for processes, projects and procedures, working with business users and technical staff to develop strategies and leading modification or creation of new systems for implementation of information technology solutions.

-Or completion of associate core program in computer science, information systems, or business administration; 42 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following\: creating and coordinating technical and business requirements for processes, projects and procedures, working with business users and technical staff to develop strategies and leading modification or creation of new systems for implementation of information technology solutions.

-Or completion of undergraduate core program in computer science, information systems, or business administration; 36 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following\: creating and coordinating technical and business requirements for processes, projects and procedures, working with business users and technical staff to develop strategies and leading modification or creation of new systems for implementation of information technology solutions.

-Or equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.

Job Skills: Information Technology
