Job DescriptionMaintenance Planning & Scheduling jobs for piping systems for Pipe, Boiler, and Fabrication Crews:\nPerform Job planning, materials and labor estimating, stakeholder coordination, and scheduling work for repair, installation, and Preventive Maintenance activities.\nPrepares methods, manning, material packages, and scheduling coordination for completion of jobs.\nWork with mechanics to Identify and procure materials for jobs\nGenerates purchase requests for Buyers, writes purchase specs and works with Buyers and vendors to expedite deliveries.\nWorks with Stockroom Supervisors to monitor and replenish inventories for high use materials.\nUtilizes MAXIMO Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage crew's backlog.
Including evaluation of new requests, generating job plan details, ordering materials, scheduling work, and monitoring execution performance through closeout.\n\nTechnical Support:\nExperience working on installed systems, components, or products (Piping, Boiler, Steel Fabrication) is preferred, as this role will be required to actively help analyze equipment failures and coordinates with systems Engineers, and Vendors for troubleshooting assistance as required.\nDevelops and maintains equipment files and machinery data within Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). MAXIMO experience a plus.\nInspects and monitors preventative maintenance job-tasks and diagnostic procedures.\nPerform Job Hazard Analysis and coordinate risk mitigation (such as equipment Lock Out Tag Out, Dig Safe, Fall Plans), and personal protective equipment (PPE) are understood and established to ensure safe job sites for planned jobs\nAbility to read Technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.\n\nAdministrative:\nSupports Facilities Program & Project management in matters such as writing labor and material estimates, reporting asset performance histories, etc.\nOccasionally assist in performing direct supervision of jobs and work crews as needed.\n Required/Preferred Education/TrainingRequired: High School/GED or Graduate Apprentice, or Associates Degree with working experience In the field.\nPreferred: BS in Mechanical Engineering, Technical, or Business Management.
Required/Preferred ExperienceRequired: Minimum of 5-years' technical experience with piping repair and installation for compressed air, boiler steam/condensate, or utility services (water/septic) systems.\nPreferred:\nMinimum of 5-years work experience in industrial/commercial setting.\nMinimum of 5-years of planning and project management experience.\nMinimum of 3-years supervising in maintenance organization.\nMinimum of 3-years of resource planning and manpower allocation.\n\nAdditional Skills Required/Preferred:Maintenance troubleshooting and repair or construction experience (building & civil infrastructure systems) preferred.
