MONDAY - FRIDAY: START TIMES BETWEEN 09:15 - 19:00

£16.00 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Coalville, Leicestershire.

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to:

Operate and drive various Category C vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations

Complete up to twelve drops per day

Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

Adhere to traffic laws and regulations

Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers

Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management

Essential Skills

As a Class 2 Driver you will need to:

Hold a valid UK Category C Licence

Have a minimum of six months experience driving Category C vehicles

No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes

Have a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card

Must be able to speak and read a good level of English

Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills

Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations

Effective communication skills

Desirable Experience

Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial

Training

Training will be provided

Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
