Job Title: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)

Job Type: Full-Time Contract (6 to 9 months, with potential extension)
Pay Range: $53.50 - $55.50 per hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join a multidisciplinary behavioral health team in Delano, CA. Key Responsibilities
Deliver crisis response and emergency consultation services during scheduled hours
Perform detailed mental health evaluations, including assessments of criminal and substance use history
Accurately evaluate suicide risk and ensure precise documentation
Administer psychotherapy and conduct interviews in both standard and challenging environments
Work collaboratively with medical and behavioral health teams to diagnose and treat psychiatric conditions
Prepare clinical documentation, develop treatment plans, and provide consultation on complex mental health needs
Monitor patient progress, document all care accurately, and uphold ethical and legal standards of care
Provide care team recommendations and participate in interdisciplinary communication and planning
Qualifications
Experience: At least 12 continuous months of LPCC experience in the last 3 years within a public or private healthcare setting
Education: Masters degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field
Licensure: Active LPCC license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences
Certifications: Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
ID Requirement: Valid Drivers License or Passport
