Maintenance Manager - Soho House Copenhagen

We are located in the heart of Copenhagen in the old customs building with beautiful views over the water. What are we? We are a private Members' Club for the creative industries, creating a home away from home for our Members from all over the World.
Our standards are high and we care about our Members and our spaces. Therefore, we are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to ensure high standards are maintained at all times across our house.
What will you do?
As our Maintenance Manager your job will vary as you will be responsible for making sure that everything works and looks perfect at all times. This includes dealing with reparations and keeping track of maintenance tasks as well as;
Keeping all equipment in good repair
Complete maintenance work orders across all departments
Inspect building, equipment and systems to identify issues
Ensure daily tasks are completed
Ensure and adhere to fire regulation codes for hospitality
Perform general tasks such as, Painting, Carpentry, plumbing and basic Electrical
Maintain inventory of working tools and supplies
Establish a good working relationship with individual departments
Ensure set H&S standards are adhered at all times
Perform daily site inspections and report defects to line manager
Workload is varied, and can involve anything from a leaky tap in a room to fixing new light fittings to tiling etc.
What we are looking for – Maintenance Manager
This role entails keeping track of many things at once and also have a sense of urgency to get things done. We rely on our Maintenance Assistant to be on top of contacting our contractors and making sure that our house is well maintained and in good condition. We therefore need you to be able to tick the following boxes:
Proven experience as Maintenance Manager or similar, preferably in the hospitality industry
Working knowledge of tools, common appliance and devices
Good understanding of Electrical, Plumbing, carpentry and painting
Attention to detail
Woodwork experience required
We are in the people business and communicating with people will be a big part of your daily job. You need to enjoy this aspect to thrive in this role and have a "can do" attitude. You need to be able to work independently and take initiative to start projects and get them done.
