As part of a growing team, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of surveying projects and support TJ Kelly Surveys’ reputation for quality, client focus, and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

-Plan, direct, and conduct land and property surveying activities to determine and delineate boundaries and features of land, civil works, and built structures.

-Prepare and supervise the development of maps, site plans, charts, and drawings using digital and graphical sources, including aerial imagery, satellite data, existing records, and field measurements.

-Design and execute land subdivision and development projects, liaising with relevant local authorities and stakeholders.

-Advise architects, engineers, planners, and environmental professionals on technical requirements around surveying, mapping, and spatial data systems.

-Compile, interpret, and evaluate survey data, prepare detailed reports and plans for conveyancing, land management, and development purposes.

-Maintain spatial information systems and databases, updating maps and records in response to landscape changes.

-Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and professional standards; support licensing or registration requirements where applicable.

Qualifications & Experience:

-Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Spatial Science, Geomatics, or a related discipline is preferred, or equivalent experience in lieu of formal qualifications.

-Experience in cadastral, subdivision, boundary, or construction surveying within land development contexts.

-Proficiency in modern surveying tools, GIS, CAD software, and spatial information systems.

-Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving capabilities.

-Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
