Job Title: Field Sales Representative Industry: Construction Location: Nairobi, Kenya Job Type: Full Time Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and performance-driven Field Sales Representative to grow our market presence, drive revenue, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
The ideal candidate will be energetic, results-oriented, and passionate about engaging directly with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities: Proactively identify and engage high-potential customers through calls, site visits, referrals, activations, and outreach events to grow the sales pipeline and build brand visibility.
Generate, qualify, and maintain a strong pipeline of leads to ensure consistent sales growth and territory coverage.
Utilize CRM tools to track leads, schedule follow-ups, manage customer interactions, and monitor the sales process effectively.
Monitor and report personal sales performance, market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to support continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
Prepare and submit timely weekly and monthly sales reports and share market insights to guide internal strategy.
Consistently achieve individual sales targets and contribute to team revenue Develop in-depth knowledge of the company’s products and services to confidently recommend suitable solutions aligned with customer needs and timelines.
Engage with new and existing customers to understand their requirements, address queries, provide timely resolutions, and deliver after-sales support.
Build long-term customer relationships through regular engagement, responsiveness, and personalized service.
Identify and pursue sales opportunities in under-served or new geographical areas to expand market coverage.
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities based on customer preferences, project scope, and past purchases to increase customer value and satisfaction.
Keep track of customer feedback on pricing, service delivery, and product performance to inform improvements and product development.
Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Logistics, Customer Experience, and Finance) to ensure seamless service delivery and operational efficiency.
Perform additional duties assigned by management to support overall business Requirements and Qualifications: Education: Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). KCSE Certificate Work Experience: 2 - 3 years' experience in field or B2C sales, preferably in construction materials, hardware, or FMCG sectors.
