As the Event Staff Coordinator, you'll be responsible for:
Implement staffing plans for events, ensuring adequate coverage for all areas
Creating and updating monthly schedules for all staffing
Train and supervise event staff, instilling a commitment to excellent customer service and safety standards
Create event notes to communicate valuable event details for the team
Conduct a thorough review of staff timekeeping records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Coordinate with other departments (production, operations, security etc.) to facilitate effective communication and seamless event execution
Assist in the development of event staff manuals and guides, ensuring staff are well-informed and prepared
Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and assistance as needed
Maintain accurate records of staff scheduling, hours worked, and other relevant data
Address any guest issues swiftly and professionally
Participate in post-event evaluations to assess staff performance and improve future operations
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during events, and instill a commitment to safety.
Responsible for Manager of Duty (MOD) on small size events
Desire to learn and develop new skills in an every changing/fast pace environment
Be proactive in identifying and resolving potential issues before they escalate during events Requirements
Bachelor's degree in event/sport management, communications, marketing, business, or a related field or equivalent additional education and experience combination
One (1) year related industry (live sports & entertainment) experience, preferably in a arena, stadium, or similar high-volume customer service setting
Exceptional organizational with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
Proficiency in using scheduling and event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction
Ability work an event-driven schedule including late nights and weekends.
