Prisma Health, the largest not-for-profit health organization in South Carolina, seeks board-certified Family Medicine physicians to serve as core faculty for our 4-4-4 Family Medicine Residency Program. The program is located at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital in Sumter, SC and provides continuity clinical practice in partnership with an FQHC. This is an outstanding opportunity to shape this unique rural residency program with a mission to improve the health of its community.

The program is located at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital in Sumter, SC and provides continuity clinical practice in partnership with an FQHC. This is an outstanding opportunity to shape this unique rural residency program with a mission to improve the health of its community.

Faculty will educate and role model rural, underserved care. Hospital and procedural care are desired. The program has point-of-care ultrasound training. OB care is desired but not requisite. Faculty are eligible for academic appointment at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine-Columbia.
