Job Title: Locum Physician - Emergency Medicine

Join a dedicated team at a leading healthcare facility in North Adams, Massachusetts. This community-focused hospital features a trauma level of 3 with 32 beds and an annual ER volume of 55,000 patients. You'll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a supportive hospitalist service that handles admissions, allowing you to focus on patient care during your shifts. The facility is equipped with Meditech EMR and offers 12-hour shifts with overnight coverage from 7 PM to 7 AM. Job Responsibilities:

Provide emergency medical care for patients in a timely and professional manner.

Float between Berkshire Medical Center and North Adams Hospital as needed.

Work 12-hour overnight shifts focused solely on emergency care.

Collaborate with APPs and other medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Supervise paramedics and ambulance services as necessary.

Engage in patient education and provide follow-up care guidance as appropriate.

Respond promptly to emergencies requiring your expertise. Qualifications:

ABEM Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency).

Active Massachusetts medical license is highly preferred.

Current BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications.

Ability to work night shifts.

Clean background for quick credentialing.

Local providers preferred with no need for travel accommodations. License and Certification Requirements:

ATLS certification.
