Rotation through the job components is considered an essential function of the mixing job.
This person must also participate individually and/or as a group in team meetings, safety programs, training, presentations, and other activities that are essential to the attainment of the team or plant goals.This position requires the regular cleaning of mixing vessels as well as mixing blades.
You will be required to enter and exit open top mixing vessels.
This position will require you to climb steps frequently.Primary job functions include but are not limited to:Lift 50lbs bags continuously Clean work area during down timeProperly follow formula for mixing batches Use forklift frequently Climb up and down steps to put material in mixers Press material into drums from mixersClean mixing blades and mixing bowls Follow all safety proceduresQualifications and Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentMust be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English Must be able to read, write, comprehend and communicate basic MathMust be 18 years of age Must be able to lift 50lbs continuouslyMust be able to work overtime with or without reasonable accommodationMust be able to stand for long periods of time while cleaning, squat while cleaning, use provided hand tools for cleaning.Must be able to climb steps frequentlyPreferred SkillsCandidate should be proficient in the following:Valid driver's license Forklift Experience Information & Compensation & BenefitsSchedule: 1st Shift 5:00 am - 2:30 pm M-FPay: This position has a salary range of $20.00 - $22.00 per hour.
The above range represents the expected salary range for this position.
The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic locationBonus Pay: Meridian is actively participating in a productivity incentive plan for 2025.
