JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for proposing, planning, and executing social events that align with Rainbow City Performing Arts mission and goals. This role involves coordinating with operations staff and other departments to ensure cohesive event planning, securing venues, recruiting and managing volunteers, and promoting events to maximize participation.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Proposes and help execute social events that align with RCPAs mission and goals.
Works closely with operations department staff and other departments to utilize available resources and ensure cohesive event planning.
Contacts and coordinates with venues to secure locations for events.
Recruits, organizes, and manages volunteers to assist with event setup, execution, and teardown.
Posts event announcements and promotional materials to ensure maximum participation and engagement.
Attends the monthly departmental meeting and coordinate with other staff as needed.
Utilizes effective communication and interpersonal skills that align with and support the organizations Mission and Core Values.
Complies with the organizations by-laws, policies, procedures, and member covenants; seeks clarification and guidance as necessary.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES
Basic understanding of event planning principles and community engagement.
Strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
