Job Overview

Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Director to lead our adult inpatient unit. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, innovative department committed to delivering exceptional patient care. The inpatient unit has 20-24 beds and is supported by a full-time attending physician and nurse practitioner.

The Medical Director will provide direct patient care and supervise psychiatry residents from Baylor College of Medicine and medical students from Texas A&M College of Medicine. Research interests are encouraged but not required. The department has a history of securing philanthropic funding for pilot projects, fostering growth and innovation.
