FACILITIES COORDINATORJob Title: Facilities Coordinator - Reports To: VP of OperationsDepartment: OperationsFSLA: ExemptCompensation: $58,955-$66,323 SalarySummary:We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented On-Site Facilities Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our facilities.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained working environment that supports the mission and culture of Overture.This role is 100% on-site at our headquarters in Waukegan, ILDuties and Responsibilities:Oversee the maintenance and repair of all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.Perform minor repairs for plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues as needed.Maintain the vehicle fleet (currently one box truck), including regular maintenance, repairs, and cleaning.Schedule and coordinate maintenance and repairs for all equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, pickers, ladders, etc.).Contact and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers (e.g., landscaping, plumbing, electrical) via phone and email.Solicit and gather bids for facility-related projects; share costs and contracts with management for approval.Communicate vendor scheduling with staff to minimize disruption to daily operations.Collaborate with the management team to meet all facilities-related needs and requirements.Ensure all safety and emergency equipment is properly maintained and regularly tested.Lead and manage facility-related projects, including renovations, relocations, and new construction.Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.Skills and Competencies:Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in facilities management or a similar role.Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory requirements.Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills.Proficiency in using facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Benefits: Complete insurance coverage - Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, flex spending accounts and disability plans with Company contributionsPet insurance and bring your dog to work daysCorporate partnerships with Life Time Fitness, Bears Fit, Skechers and Tickets at WorkGenerous paid time off (vacation, sick and personal days as well as yearly floating holiday)401(k) eligibility day one of employment, with a Company match after the first year of employmentPaid maternity and paternity leave based on years of serviceRelaxed dress codeOverture family fun - Summer BBQs, volunteer ERGs, employee vegetable garden, contests, potlucks and cookoffsEmployee referral bonus
