You'll gain valuable experience working with:Gas turbines and high-speed reciprocating enginesMedium voltage generators and power distribution systemsEnvironmental controls and distributed control systemsYou'll also support construction projects, troubleshoot equipment, and analyze data to solve technical challenges-all while growing into a respected leader among your peers.What You'll Do As a key member of our shift operations team, you'll be responsible and maintaining facility equipment during assigned shiftsOperating and troubleshooting gas turbines, generators, and power distribution systemsResponding to operational issues in real-time and collaborating with team members to resolve themPerforming inspections, calibrations, and preventative maintenanceEnsuring compliance with safety protocols and environmental standardsKeeping accurate records and logs throughout your shiftSupporting construction and commissioning activities as neededWhat You'll BringRequired for All Levels:High School Diploma or GEDValid State Driver's License and clean driving recordWillingness to work shifts, overtime, and travel between locationsAbility to work in extreme conditions and elevated areas with PPEStrong organizational and interpersonal skillsCommitment to safety and operational excellencePreferred Qualifications by I: 6+ months of mechanical or technical experience, or internship with Associate degreeTechnician II: 2+ years of related experience, preferably in oil & gasTechnician III: 3+ years of technician experience, preferably in oil & gasTechnician Sr: 6+ years of experience with similar equipment or facilities; Associate degree preferredTech Skills That Set You ApartProficiency in Microsoft Office and PC applicationsFamiliarity with Process Control Systems and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)Ability to embrace new technologies and drive operational efficiencyWork Environment & ScheduleWork in a variety of conditions, including extreme temperatures, loud areas, and confined spacesLift up to 50 lbs (team lift for heavier loads)Perform physical tasks like standing, walking, climbing, bending, and squatting for extended periodsWork at heights using ladders, scaffolding, or lifts, with proper PPEUse hand tools regularlyBe available for rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call dutyExpect 10-12 hour shifts with potential overtimeTravel between locations with occasional overnight stays#LI-RS1Why Choose Williams?We are committed to providing our employees with competitive compensation and benefits as part of your Total Rewards package to help protect your current and future physical, emotional, and financial health.
