Job Title: HR Talent Acquisition Contractor (Contract)
Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite, 2 Days Remote)
Contract Duration: 9/15/2025 – 12/15/2025
Pay Rate: $45–$55/hour
Employment Type: W-2 Only (U.S. Citizens Only – No Visa Sponsorships)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive HR Talent Acquisition Contractor to support full life-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition processes for a dynamic organization. This role is onsite in Columbus, OH three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday), with flexibility for remote work the other two days. You’ll work closely with hiring leaders and HR teams to source top talent, deliver a best-in-class candidate experience, and ensure recruitment practices align with compliance standards and diversity goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and execute the full life-cycle recruiting process, from sourcing and screening to offers and onboarding
Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract a diverse and qualified pipeline of candidates
Conduct resume reviews, phone screens, and candidate evaluations to present high-quality slates to hiring leaders
Lead offer negotiations and close top candidates
Maintain timely and accurate applicant data in Workday (ATS) and other systems
Ensure compliance with OFCCP and internal recruiting processes
Serve as a brand ambassador, representing the organization at recruitment events and through candidate interactions
Provide an excellent candidate experience with consistent communication and feedback
Collaborate with the talent acquisition team to identify and implement best practices, tools, and techniques
Track and report key hiring metrics, pipeline progress, and recruiting outcomes
Participate in both virtual and in-person hiring events, as needed
Support diversity hiring initiatives and community outreach
Required Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience
2–4 years of full life-cycle recruiting experience across various role types and levels
At least 2 years of experience in sourcing and closing candidates
Demonstrated success in a metrics-driven recruiting environment
Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills
Strong ability to manage confidential information with discretion
High comfort level with Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or related field
Direct experience using Workday
Prior work in a regulated, compliance-focused environment
Familiarity with labor market trends and community-based recruiting
