BI Analyst - focus on Power BI (m/f)

Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Power BI Data Analyst, where you’ll have the unique opportunity to apply your data visualization skills to transform how we understand and utilize information across the organization. This role is all about utilizing advanced technology and data-driven insights to drive impactful business decisions. You'll be part of an innovative team, collaborating with stakeholders to enhance reporting accuracy and identify strategic opportunities for process improvement.

Key responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain reports and dashboards in Power BI from end to end:

ETL processes: Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources

Data modeling: Apply efficient structures

Visualization & publishing: Deliver insights and manage access permissions

Perform business process analysis, evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement

Personality requirements and skills

Technical skills:

Proficient in Power BI (at least 2 years of experience building reports)

Experience with DAX and M language (PowerQuery) - must have

Experience with Power BI online service – nice to have

Basic understanding of SQL

Experience with Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Excel)

Familiarity with Workbench — nice to have

Familiarity with Denodo— nice to have

Ability to investigate issues thoroughly and ensure quality through functional analysis

Understand the broader impact of reporting decisions on business processes

Ask the right questions to understand data and workflows

Apply structured problem-solving techniques to deliver targeted solutions

Interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights — going beyond the request to add value

Work independently, escalating only when necessary

Maintain organized code and documentation

Communicate effectively with stakeholders and IT teams

Proficiency in English is a must
