'..The Clinical Informatics Nurse (RN) serves as a bridge between clinical care and technology, leveraging their nursing expertise to optimize the use of Meditech Expanse and other healthcare information systems. The role focuses on improving workflows, enhancing patient outcomes, and ensuring system usability while providing support and training to clinical staff. Reports to Information Systems Director. Must have active TX RN license. Meditech Expanse experience required. Reports to Information Systems Director. Must have active TX RN license. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing or related field (healthcare administration) preferred. Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical nursing experience. At least 1-2 years of experience in clinical informatics or EHR system management. Prefer Certification in Nursing Informatics (e.g., ANCC Informatics Nursing Certification) and experience in system implementation or optimization projects. Work is performed in a hospital environment with exposure to clinical settings. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing or related field (healthcare administration) preferred.
