Test Engineer - Contract

Travel: Up to 10-15%

We are seeking a Test Engineer with a strong background in instrumentation and automated verification and validation (V&V) to join our high-performing engineering team. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with a passion for precision, data-driven testing, and improving product performance through deep technical analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute automated test procedures for hardware and system-level V&V.

Utilize and program test equipment including DMMs, SMUs, oscilloscopes, VNAs, VSTs, and DAQs.

Apply knowledge of measurement theory (uncertainty, accuracy, resolution) to ensure test reliability.

Analyze data using statistical methods and process capability metrics to identify performance trends and ensure product quality.

Create and maintain test scripts in LabVIEW, Python, C++, and/or TestStand.

Interface with cross-functional teams to support product development, debug, and design validation.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience with automated verification and validation processes.

Strong hands-on expertise with electrical measurement equipment.

Solid grasp of measurement theory and how it impacts test results.

Working knowledge of statistical analysis and process capability.

Demonstrated experience in instrumentation control using LabVIEW, Python, C++, and/or TestStand.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a regulated or high-reliability environment (e.g., aerospace, medical device, automotive).
