Job Purpose: Toprovide high-quality, efficient, safe, andtimelyservices for Tree Trust clients, ensuring their satisfaction with our performance.

Job Summary:

Thispositionis responsible for

assistingtheProperty Maintenance teamin daily operations involving commercial and residentialproperty maintenance,qualitycontrol

and safety.Assistsin the completion of all landscape maintenance projects.Projects toinclude mowing,spring/fall cleanups,shrub and tree pruning,aeration,

plantings,mulching,landscape bedenhancements

andsnow removal.This rolemayalso supportour Tree Care or Landscape Constructiondepartments as needed.

Essential Functions:

Assistsa crew in the delivery of all lawn maintenance services including mowing, line trimming, leaf pickup, lawn edging, aerating, shrub pruning, etc.

Assistsin general tree care (pruning, removal, vegetation management) during winter months

Assistsin snow removal which may include truck, skid and/or snowblower operation

Assistsin job preparation including loading of tools, equipment, and materials

Helps organize worksites for efficiency and safety; adheres to all Tree Trust safety policies and procedures

Maintains facility grounds by ensuring a well-organized and clean workspace including vehicles, trailers,and equipment

Strictly adhere to Tree Trusts safety policies and procedures

Receives openly alltrainingsincluding safety, equipmentuse, technique, etc.

Alwaysrepresentsthe companys best interest,maintainsthe highest level of integrity and professionalism

Maintains a clean and safe job site

Maintains and cares for your personal or company provided equipment, tools,and vehicles

Works as part of a team and takesdirection

Understands and meets contract scheduled deadlines without sacrificingquality or customer service

Keepsaccuratetimesheet records,submittedfor review and signoff by the required deadlines

Performs other tasks or projects as assigned by Tree Trust managers

Qualifications/Skills Required:

Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver license and a clean driving record asdeterminedby our insurance carrier

Must be able to pass a criminal background and motor vehicle check

Mustpossessand maintain MN DOT medical certificate within fifteen (15) days of hire

Pesticide applicators license or ability to obtain within90 days

Mustpossessa strong work ethic, positive attitude and work well within a team

Must be able to take work direction and work well under pressure within a fast paced, deadline driven environment

Must be teachable, trainable and project a proactive attitude-always looking for the next way to find solutions

Must havestrong communicationskills and be an effective listener

Must be reliable,possessa positive attitude and be able to work independently

Must be willing to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions

Punctual and dependable with a can-do attitude

Ability to work effectively with individuals of differing backgrounds, knowledge, and skill levels

Preferred Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED; Degree in horticulture or similar field

One (1) year experience in property maintenance

Experienceoperatinga variety of mowers, gas-powered tools,truckand trailer,plowsetc.

Knowledge of horticulture best practices

Experience withchainsaws, pole saws, powertoolsetc.

Experience in heavy equipmentoperationsuch as skid steers and front-end loaders

Work Environment:

Jobwill require constantly working outdoors in all types of weather conditions and exposure to elements. This can include heavy to moderate noise, extreme proximity to moving equipment or machinery, proximity to electrical energy, exposure to tools and machines used in construction industries.

PhysicalDemands:

Physicaldemands requireconstantlymoving, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Frequently ascends/descends a ladder to perform work. Frequentlyoperatesmachinery and will use hands/fingers and legs to operate, activate, use, prepare, inspect, place, detect and position materials. Frequently required to stand and walk, lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilitiesrequiredinclude close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Constantly required to communicate withabilityto talk and hear.
