Jolly Roofing & Contracting Co., LLC. is a leading regional commercial roofing contractor committed to quality craftsmanship and exceptional service. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Technician Helper to support our roofing technicians on job sites throughout the Memphis area.
Position Overview:
The Technician Helper will assist experienced roofing technicians in daily operations, ensuring job sites are prepared, equipment is maintained, and projects are completed safely and efficiently. This entry-level position offers excellent opportunities for career development and hands-on experience in the commercial roofing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with installation and repairs of various commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, metal, etc.)
Load, unload, and move roofing materials and tools
Remove debris and old roofing materials from job sites
Help set up ladders, scaffolding, and safety equipment
Use hand and power tools as needed
Maintain clean and safe job sites
Follow instructions from supervisors and senior roofers
Qualifications:
Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in various weather conditions
Basic knowledge of construction or roofing is helpful but not required
Ability to work as part of a team and follow safety guidelines
Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
