We are a nationally operating Property Management Company specializing in the oversight and operations of Mobile Home Communities and RV Parks located in multiple states across the country. Our team is growing, and we’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Property Management Intern to join us at our headquarters in Beverly Hills, CA. This is an in-person internship where you will work closely with various department managers and members of the leadership team, gaining exposure to multiple facets of our nationwide property operations.
As a Property Management Intern, you will support the daily operations and administrative tasks related to the management of Mobile Home and RV Parks across various states. Under the guidance of multiple department managers, your responsibilities may include:
Help monitor park maintenance requests, vendor coordination, and service scheduling.
Track work orders and follow up on completion status.
Review and organize site inspections, safety reports, and compliance documentation.
Support the team in handling resident inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Draft communications, notices, and community updates as needed.
Help maintain updated resident files and lease records.
Organize and maintain digital and physical filing systems for property records.
Assist with rent roll reporting, occupancy tracking, and lease audits.
Prepare spreadsheets and reports for management review.
Assist in reviewing online listings, updating property ads, and monitoring lead follow-ups.
Help prepare leasing documents and coordinate move-in/move-out checklists.
Participate in occasional market research on rent comparisons and community trends.
Support accounts receivable tracking and invoice processing.
Assist in reviewing utility bills, budget reports, and expense reconciliations.
Help ensure properties are following local, state, and federal housing regulations.
Assist in preparing documentation for inspections, permits, and licensing renewals.
Attend team meetings and contribute to project discussions.
Collaborate with managers from operations, leasing, finance, and compliance departments.
SKILLS (Good, but not required):
MLS experience a plus
CRM experience
Strong Writing and Editing Skills
Microsoft Office Suite
Instagram and Facebook
Google Suite
REQUIRED:
Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete tasks in a timely manner
Strong writing and communication skills, attention to detail
Solid work ethic, outgoing personality, organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and deadline oriented
Good deductive and strategic thinking skills, ability to work independently to execute tasks within group environment
Hours, Compensation, Duration of Internship:
Interns will receive a monthly stipend through the duration of the internship. Additionally, interns may have the opportunity to join a team within the company during the duration of internship or following completion of internship and be a part of one of the real estate teams in the Country.
Length of internship: 3 Month Internship Minimum
Hours not to exceed 20 per week
Dates are flexible and workable with the schedule of the candidate chosen
Note, this is an IN-OFFICE position and adheres to current CDC safety guidelines to be observed at all times
