Position Title: Construction Safety Coordinator

Location: North Luzon

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift (with flexibility for site requirements)

Employment Type: Project-based (2 years) with annual project bonuses

About the Role

We are seeking a Construction Safety Coordinator to support the safe and compliant execution of greenfield manufacturing projects in North Luzon. The role is responsible for overseeing daily safety practices on-site, conducting inspections, and ensuring adherence to both local and international safety standards. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a secure working environment during plant construction and set-up, while collaborating with contractors and project teams to embed a strong culture of safety.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily safety compliance across construction and plant development sites.

Implement and monitor adherence to established safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Conduct regular on-site inspections and ensure corrective actions are completed in a timely manner.

Support safety orientations, toolbox meetings, and training sessions for workers and contractors.

Manage and maintain accurate documentation of safety-related files, reports, permits, and incident logs.

Collaborate with site management, project engineers, and contractors to strengthen workplace safety culture.

Provide recommendations and assist in continuous improvement of safety management practices.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction safety, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, or large-scale industrial plant projects.

Strong knowledge of local and international construction safety standards and regulatory frameworks.

Familiarity with incident reporting, investigations, and corrective/preventive action planning.

Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively across site teams and contractors.

Safety-related certifications (e.g., DOLE-accredited Safety Officer, COSH, BOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent) are an advantage.
