Position Summary:
The MEP Sales Director is responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve the company's sales targets and objectives. This role involves strategic planning, developing, and implementing sales plans, monitoring market trends, and building and maintaining customer relationships. The Sales Director ensures the sales team is motivated and skilled to meet the company's growth targets.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve organizational goals and revenues.
Set annual sales goals and ensure they are met monthly.
Analyze project market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Team Leadership and Development
Recruit, train, and mentor the sales team to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
Foster a high-performing sales culture through motivation, recognition, and reward programs.
Sales Operations Management
Oversee daily sales activities, ensuring effective and efficient pricing processes.
Monitor and analyze sales metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and support for sales activities.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with projects and partners.
Negotiate and close deals with key customers and support sale team to close.
Handle escalated customer issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Market Analysis and Reporting
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and market shifts.
Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management and to sale departments.
Keep knowledge of industry developments and competitor activities.
Analyze current projects and partnerships changes.
