Clerical Associate

Position SummaryThe Clerical Associate provides administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient operations within our large medical service organization.

This role is responsible for handling a variety of office tasks, maintaining accurate records, supporting clinical and administrative staff, and ensuring compliance with company standards and healthcare regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform general office duties including scanning, copying, faxing, and filing documents.Process and maintain medical records and confidential information in compliance with HIPAA and company policies.Enter and update patient and client information in electronic systems.Assist in billing, data entry, and basic clerical tasks..Support special projects and provide backup coverage for other administrative staff when required.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; 1-3 years of clerical, administrative, or healthcare office experience.Knowledge of medical terminology and/or healthcare office practices a plus.Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems would be a plusStrong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently.Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
