Role Overview
As a Senior Associate Counselor – Degree Programs, you will play a crucial role in guiding students through their higher education journey. You will counsel prospective learners on our portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs, such as BBA and MBA, offered in collaboration with leading universities including Manipal University, Jain University, and Sharda University. By leveraging your strong sales and counseling skills, you will help students make informed academic and career decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with prospective students via calls, emails, and chats to counsel them on degree programs (BBA, MBA, etc.) from reputed universities.
Understand each student’s academic background, career aspirations, and challenges to provide tailored program recommendations.
Drive enrollments by building rapport, addressing objections, and guiding students through the complete admission process.
Maintain a student-first approach to ensure a smooth and positive counseling experience from inquiry to enrollment.
Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align sales strategies with ongoing campaigns and university offerings.
Consistently achieve and exceed weekly/monthly enrollment targets through structured follow-ups and relationship management.
Stay updated on degree program details, industry trends, and competitor offerings to deliver accurate and compelling guidance.
Record and maintain detailed student interaction data in CRM systems with accuracy and timeliness.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
2–4 years of experience in inside sales or counseling, preferably in the EdTech or higher education sector.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales/enrollment targets.
Strong consultative selling and counseling abilities with the power to influence decisions.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with a student-centric approach.
Ability to manage high volumes of leads and close enrollments efficiently.
Self-driven, target-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced work environment.
Familiarity with CRM tools and sales software will be an added advantage.
