Project Manager – Land Development (Civil Engineering & Subdivision Projects)

The position is primarily remote, with a requirement to work from our Ottawa office 1–2 times per week.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage multiple subdivision development projects from preliminary planning through detailed design and construction
• Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control to ensure deliverables meet client expectations and regulatory standards
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, municipalities, and approval agencies
• Lead design and coordination efforts for grading, servicing, stormwater management, and utility infrastructure
• Guide and mentor junior engineers, project coordinators, and technical staff
• Prepare, review, and approve submission packages and constraints analyses
• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to align multidisciplinary project objectives
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery through strategic planning and process optimization
Skills and Qualifications:
• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field; P.Eng. designation preferred
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in land development and subdivision design/project management
• Strong understanding of municipal approvals, servicing strategies, and engineering standards
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and client-relations abilities
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach
• Proficiency with design tools (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D) and project tracking systems
