The Salamanca City Central School District needs more bus drivers and has begun a FREE Bus Driver Training Program for interested applicants. Becoming a bus driver is very rewarding, both personally and professionally.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years of age

Possess a valid, Class D drivers license

New York State Fingerprint Clearance

Pass Federal Drug Screening (no cannabis) 1500 sign on BONUS that will be paid during the first year of employment. Time worked during training will count toward sign on bonus!

As a licensed bus driver, you would be responsible for driving one or all modes of transportation in our fleet that include:

One of our two modified Coach buses

School vans / cars

Full-size standard yellow school bus (35 feet) with passenger vapacity of 65-66

Micro school bus (20-25 feet) with passenger vapacity of 10-15
