Position Title: Service Technician
Locations: Atlanta, GA (Level II preferred), Bakersfield, CA (Level I or II), West Palm Beach, FL, Greenville, NC, Charlotte, NC, Wilmington, NC, Columbus, OH
Shift: Monday-Friday, Day Shift. Regional travel required. Some overtime and overnight travel.
Compensation:
Level I: $26-$33/hour (mechanical experience with generators and diesel engines required)
Level II: $34-$39/hour (includes Level I experience plus electrical knowledge including switchgear and load balancing)

Position Overview: Responsible for startup, preventative, and corrective maintenance of commercial generators, low-to-medium voltage switchgear, and battery storage systems at customer locations.
Responsibilities:
Service and repair all makes/models of generator sets
Troubleshoot and repair engines (Volvo, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, John Deere, MTU)
Diagnose and program switchgear systems
Conduct load bank testing and equipment start-ups
Deliver outstanding customer service
Complete job documentation accurately and on time
Participate in on-call rotations
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience with generators, engines, switchgear, and controllers
Volvo engine experience is a plus
20% overnight travel
Ability to pass a DOT physical, background check, and drug screen
Strong written and verbal English communication
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook
OEM or EGSA certifications preferred
