Now Hiring: Lead Toddler Teacher Location: Sakonnet Early Learning Center – Tiverton, RI Schedule: Full-Time Monday–Friday Between 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM Hours: Up to 40 hours per week (must be flexible to rotate closing shifts)

Are you an energetic, nurturing, and experienced early childhood professional? Sakonnet Early Learning Center—celebrating 40 years of excellence—is seeking a Lead Toddler Teacher to join our dynamic and caring teaching team. Help our littlest learners (18 months – 3 years) build independence, confidence, and social-emotional skills through developmentally appropriate, play-based learning.

What You’ll Do:

Design and lead engaging toddler lesson plans that spark exploration and curiosity

Foster a positive, inclusive, and emotionally supportive classroom culture

Promote learning through hands-on, sensory-rich experiences

Guide daily routines and smooth transitions with patience and consistency

Maintain open communication and partnerships with families

Monitor developmental milestones and document observations

What You Bring:

CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred)

At least 1 year of experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare or preschool program

Understanding of child-led learning, developmental stages, and behavior guidance techniques

Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Reliability, flexibility, and a heart for working with young children
