Description: Safely transport students to and from school and related events, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and district regulations while maintaining a secure and positive environment for all passengers.

Essential Functions

Transport students safely along assigned routes and schedules.

Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report mechanical issues.

Ensure student safety and enforce transportation rules.

Maintain a clean and operational vehicle.

Handle emergencies, including evacuations and first aid assistance.

Record and report incidents, accidents, and behavior violations.

Interact professionally with students, parents, staff, and the public.

Promote positive public relations through safe, professional driving. Qualifications

Valid Ohio Vehicle Driver Certification and Pre-Service Certificate.

FBI & BCI Clearance

High school diploma or equivalent.

First aid and basic knowledge of child behavior management. Working Conditions

Frequent sitting, repetitive hand motions, and interaction with students.

Occasional lifting of students or supplies (up to 90 lbs).

Exposure to noise, weather conditions, and vehicle emissions.
