Legal Administrative Assistant

The Legal Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Legal Department's operations. This position is responsible for overseeing corporate filings, managing contracts and legal documentation, administering legal systems, and assisting with legal correspondence and collection efforts. Responsibilities include: coordinating and submitting all required state filings, handling Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) filings related to new and existing owner agreements, conducting due diligence for potential owners, serving as a liaison with the Business Development team regarding new prospects, facilitating onboarding for new owners, assisting with owner exits, maintaining the internal contract repository, reviewing and updating existing contracts, managing contract execution via DocuSign, ensuring accurate entry and updates of legal and contract data in Enterprise, overseeing vendor relationships and tools used by the Legal Department, maintaining a library of demand letter templates, collaborating with Owner Success Managers and Collections on legal demands, and drafting and issuing demand letters as needed.

Skills and qualifications required include an associate's degree in Legal Studies or Business Administration preferred, experience with contracts and UCC filings, familiarity with G-Suite, and prior experience with UCC filings.

Work environment offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options. Full-time employees work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexibility. Part-time employees work 3 days a week from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexibility. The position requires being in the office at least 3 days a week, with the possibility of a hybrid model for full-time employees up to 5 days.

Pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
