Position: Occupational Health Nurse (RN)

Location: Carlsbad, CA

Status: Part-time, 3 days a week, flexible; covering 1st and 2nd shift (8:30am – 5:00pm)

Clinic Type: Manufacturing

Salary: $50 – $54/hour

Duties:

Assessment and treatment of illnesses and injuries.

Respond to emergencies and administer first aid.

Maintain compliance with local, state, federal occ. health and safety standards.

Advise site leadership and management on occupational health matters, including prevention and program implementation.

Plan, implement, and monitor on-site occupational health initiatives (e.g., wellness programs, surveillance).

Manage new hire medical surveillance and clearance evaluations.

Oversee medical leave processes, including return-to-work planning, disability coordination, and workers’ compensation case management.

Requirements:

RN with a valid CA License; CPR/AED certified

Experience: Occupational Health nursing and case management preferred

Ability to implement occupational health programs in coordination with site leadership

Familiarity with disability and workers’ compensation systems preferred

Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems; strong computer skills

Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage occupational health initiatives in partnership with site leadership
