Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Job Description

Alliance Urgent Care is a friendly, family oriented company which offers flexible scheduling, competitive compensation and a great work environment. We are currently seeking an energetic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the team in a Full-time capacity, at our fast paced urgent care center in Tolleson. At least 1 year experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate would be available for 12-14 shifts per month.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses

Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments

Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients

Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures

Facilitate referrals to ancillary services (outside lab and radiology)

Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care

Qualifications:

Previous experience in Urgent Care, Primary Care or Emergency Medicine preferred

Ability to quickly build rapport with patients

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
