Education and Experience:
Must have bachelor's degree in social, behavior or human services field from an accredited university
Must be able to qualify as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)
1 year of experience in dealing with Children/Families having behavioral and/or emotional problems is preferred
Must have valid TX driver's license and be insurable
Job Purpose:
Provides curriculum basked skills training and service coordination activities for children/adolescents who have been identified as eligible for services
Develop and maintain curriculum for skills training services
Provide service coordination for clients including, but not limited to linking to other appropriate services and advocating for individuals served
Job Function:
Provide skills training for consumers and their family members
Ensure proper billing practices are adhered to in regards to direct reimbursable services and Medicaid administration claiming
Maintains regular contact with individuals served to monitor services and identify needs
Will provide crisis intervention services to individuals with mental illness
Will be part of the on-call crisis rotation
Full-time
