WELCOME TO BASF

In the Performance Materials Division, we develop innovative plastics and foams for all kinds of applications. Whether it is for cars, buildings or sports goods - we always look for the ideal material solution. To do this, we work closely with our customers: from production and logistics to research and sales, all the way to component testing, design consulting and simulation.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Support us from now on for six months, get an insight into BASF materials and explore with us how to combine the world of materials with the virtual world.

You don't have to make coffee here! You will enter the field of performance materials and learn how we virtually test the manufacturing and audit of components from foam and plastics with web applications.

You will actively participate in the design, implementation and testing of user interfaces utilizing Angular as a key framework.

In addition, the further development of existing web applications will be part of your area of responsibility.

Your individual internship concept: The main points of your work can be coordinated in advance, taking into account your interests and skills.

Depending on your needs, a thesis after the internship is conceivable. Additionally, the position may also be performed remotely from anywhere in Germany.

WHAT YOU OFFER

current studies in the field of (business-) computer science, engineering or related disciplines

experiences with frontend framework Angular, data exchange via REST APIs

safe handling of Javascript/Typescript, CSS/SCSS, HTML or Bootstrap

enjoy visualizing user interfaces

fun at working together as a team to develop software solutions
