The practice's experienced doctors and nursepractitioners offer comprehensive preventive medicine services in addition tohigh-quality care for minor illnesses and injuries and ongoing chronic healthproblems for adults of all age groups. Preventivemedicine is a cornerstone of Honeycomb Medical Group's offering. The practiceprovides various services to help patients avoid ill health, including Medicareannual wellness visits, routine checkups, annual physicals, weight managementprograms, and immunizations. Honeycomb is looking for an ambitious andsuccessful Physician to join our growing primary care practice.
Duties andResponsibilities:
ProvidePrimary Care Services by assessing and diagnosing patients.
• Determinethe appropriate care plan and prescribing treatment plan.
• Educatepatients on follow-up assessments, medication, and other issues related to thetreatment plan.
• Orderlaboratory tests and diagnostic procedures as appropriate.
• Documentsthe delivery of care in the patient electronic medical records system (EClinical Works).
• Performsrelated responsibilities as required.
MinimumQualifications:
Medical Doctor (M.D.)
Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Board Certification or board-eligible
Active, non-probationary, TN State License
Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license
Compensation:
Honeycomboffers an excellent work environment and understands the need for work/lifebalance. A competitive compensation plan is offered but it is NOT directly tiedto production but stresses wellness and value-based care opportunities.Expectations are that each provider will care for 20 -22 patients per day in anenvironment that is well staffed and supported by trained Medical Assistants.
PhysicalRequirements:
The physicalactivities of this position may include frequent standing and walking, pushing,hearing, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion. Musthave good balance and coordination. The physical requirements of this positionare medium work - exerting up to 75 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 50lbs. of force frequently. The Physician is required to have close visual acuityincluding color, depth perception, and field of vision to perform an activity,such as assessing patients, and analyzing data and figures; transcribing;viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading. Frequent invasive andnon-invasive patient contact. Exposure to patient body fluids as well asexposure to hazardous or poisonous materials.
