Position duties and responsibilities:
Processing of US Customs entries in accordance with US Customs and all other government agency guidelines.
Coordinates air and ocean freight forwarding of international shipments from Door to Door.
Must maintain account information according to client requirements, change in contact, special instructions and any other additional or revised specific requirements.
Negotiate rates with carriers; prepare and submit quotations to prospective accounts on a daily basis.
Daily interactions and departmental performance reporting to local management.
Provide excellent Customer Service
Requirements:
Entry writing and Freight Forwarding industry experience minimum 3+ years
Customs House Broker License not required but a plus.
Position requires working directly with customs, other government agencies, carriers, customers, vendors and all related parties concerning the export process.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written)
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Knowledge of Cargowise Software a plus
