TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) to provide quality care and daily assistance to elderly patients. This role involves supporting residents with personal care needs, promoting independence, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure a safe and supportive environment for geriatric patients.

Job Responsibilities

Assist elderly patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Support patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using safe techniques.

Take and record vital signs, report changes in condition, and assist with monitoring overall health status.

Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement to residents to enhance quality of life.

Assist with feeding and ensuring patients receive proper nutrition and hydration.

Maintain accurate records of care provided and promptly report concerns to nursing staff.

Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards.

Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to geriatric patients. Qualifications

Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training program required.

Active Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in good standing.

Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or geriatric care preferred.

Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to elderly care.

Ability to follow directions, work collaboratively, and maintain professionalism.

Physical stamina to assist with lifting, transfers, and patient mobility. Benefits
