Host/Hostess

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome guests and manage seating based on reservations and availability.

Handle reservations, phone calls, and the seating chart for efficient table turnover.

Monitor wait times and keep guests informed.

Communicate with staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.

Address guest concerns or special requests promptly and politely.

Help maintain cleanliness in the entrance, dining room, and restrooms as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Previous customer service/hospitality/restaurant experience, preferably in a fine-dining setting.

Basic understanding of restaurant operations and customer service principles.

Ability to maintain a calm, friendly demeanor in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent verbal communication skills for interacting with guests, coworkers, and management.

Strong organizational skills to manage seating charts, reservations, and guest flow.

Problem-solving skills for addressing guest concerns and unexpected issues efficiently.

Required food and alcohol certifications.
