Manage, connect and communicate. Account Directors at Rebel ambitiously manage accounts from go to whoa. They are the primary contact and liaison between Rebel and our clients. Account Directors efficiently coordinate and direct agency efforts that contribute to strong client relationships and excellent work product. They think strategically, treat client goals as their own and look forward to each clients success. Their days are spent building relationships and looking for ways to advance their clients businesses to meet and exceed goals. Account Directors also may be responsible for managing a team of Account Executives and Coordinators. This includes oversight of accounts they do not directly manage, coaching and mentoring, and ultimate responsibility for maintaining and growing important client/agency relationships.

Account Directors also may be responsible for managing a team of Account Executives and Coordinators. This includes oversight of accounts they do not directly manage, coaching and mentoring, and ultimate responsibility for maintaining and growing important client/agency relationships.
What Youll Do
Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Maintain client relationships through timely, consistent and clear communications regarding status of project
Manage direct reports including entry-level Account Coordinators and seasoned Account Executives - coach and mentor as well as oversee their day-to-day work
Shepherd client work through to successful completion - on time and within budget
Coordinate, prepare agendas for, participate in and document meetings with clients and internal Rebel teams
Ensure deliverables and billings are consistent with contract and client expectations
Analyze data to report metrics to clients where necessary
Think proactively, strategically and thoughtfully on clients behalf
Remain up-to-date with client industry trends, agency expectations and service offerings and digital marketing developments
Job Requirements
7+ years of experience in either managing or executing the following types of digital marketing initiatives: content marketing, social media campaigns, SEO, paid search and paid media campaigns, website builds, video production, web design and email marketing
2+ years of personnel management experience
Experience developing and managing project timelines
Highly-organized, detail-oriented
Team player - ability to work effectively with all departments/disciplines in the agency
Able to communicate clearly, effectively and professionally in person, over the phone and in writing both with clients and internal teams
Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize workload
Ability to think and plan ahead (anticipate client needs before they arise and act)
Excellent listening skills
Ability to distill information quickly and translate into useful information for team members
Ability to apply client feedback to projects to ensure we are meeting expectations and apply learnings from one project to future projects
Exceptional professional communication skills (written and verbal). Polished presenter to both internal and clients & able to design and facilitate brainstorms, discussions and client workshops
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and think strategically on behalf of clients
Strong experience with MS Office products, including Excel and/or Smartsheets
Prior marketing agency experience is preferred
Experience with Google Analytics and Google Data Studio preferred
Experience with project management software preferred
Rebel offers a semi-hybrid work schedule, requiring at least 4 days per week in the Cheshire office, with one of those days being Wednesday
Some occasional car travel may be required to visit clients in NY, NJ, and MA (typically no more than 2x/month) and flight travel may also be required (typically only 1-2 days/quarter)
