As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager Level 1, youll support the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, ensuring fans can find their favorite merchandise. Your fandom knowledge will help train new team members and support daily operations and sales goals.

What You'll Do

Provide a memorable shopping experience to encourage customer loyalty, utilizing your product knowledge and customer service skills

Step in and support the sales floor and leadership team as needed

Open and close the store when required

Operate the register, process transactions, and promote sales using store benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup

Understand store sales plans, KPIs like UPT and ADT, and contribute to achieving sales targets

Assist with store layout changes and merchandising

Communicate fashion and music trends to management and HQ

Work with management to prevent theft and misuse of store resources

Maintain organized stock rooms and a tidy store environment

Help develop a passionate, collaborative team

Perform other duties as assigned by store leadership

What You'll Need

At least 1 year of retail experience, with a passion for music and pop culture

Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and leadership skills

High school diploma or GED

Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds
