Looking for an experienced Consultant to help design, configure, activate, and support the implementation of Oracle Health Population Health solutions across federal agencies including the Department of Defense, United States Coast Guard, Veterans Affairs, and Indian Health Service. The Federal Consulting team is a group of hard-working, knowledgeable, passionate members who want to shape the electronic health records systems for active-duty service men and women, their beneficiaries, our nation's veterans, American Indians, and Alaska Natives. A Senior Consultant is an experienced consulting professional who has an understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant, you will leverage your expertise in healthcare technology and business processes to support our federal clients while focusing on streamlining cloud-based population health deployments. You will consult on population health workflows, local site education, drive solution provisioning and have regular client interactions. You will focus on creating standardization across the federal program and have ample opportunities for applying process improvements where necessary.
Basic Qualifications
At least 6 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including: At least 2 years healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client-facing or information technology (IT) solution work experience 4+ years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles including knowledge and experience with the Oracle Population Health and/or Oracle Health product(s). Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Self-starter capable of independently handling tasks and projects. U.S. citizenship required due to client contracts. Must be able to obtain the appropriate government security clearance card applicable to your position.
Expectations: Perform other responsibilities as assigned. Willing to travel up to 50% as needed. Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations. Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position.
