Purchasing Assistant

In this role you will be working as a Purchasing Assistant/Buyer for a client in the manufacturing industry. This position is responsible for finding/evaluating and purchasing of the best possible products and services for my client.

This position is a contract to possible perm position that must be performed on-site.

Job Requirements:

Experience monitoring stock levels

Ability to negotiate with and find vendors

Ability to track all orders

Experience creating purchase orders

Experience identifying suppliers, negotiating contracts, and placing purchase orders

Cost reduction background

Supply chain knowledge would be very helpful
