Were looking for music and pop culture enthusiasts to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager Level 1, youll support the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, helping fans find their favorite merchandise. Youll use your fandom knowledge to train new recruits and support daily operations and sales targets.

What You'll Do

Provide an engaging shopping experience that encourages customer loyalty, leveraging your product knowledge and customer service skills.

Step into leadership roles when needed, covering the sales floor and supporting the management team.

Open and close the store as required, managing store keys responsibly.

Operate the register, process transactions, and promote add-on sales using benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup. Communicate shortages or overages to the Store Manager.

Understand sales goals, KPIs such as UPT and ADT, and contribute to achieving them.

Assist with planogram changes, including store layout and merchandising.

Share fashion and music trend insights with management and HQ partners.

Work with Store Management to prevent theft and misuse of spells and wizardry.

Maintain the stock room and keep the store tidy.

Support the development of a passionate, collaborative team.

Perform any other activities assigned by your Store Leader.

What You'll Need

At least 1 year of retail experience, with a passion for music and pop culture.

Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and operational skills.

A high school diploma or GED.

The ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.
