A health services network in New York is currently seeking a new, licensed Psychiatrist for a great opportunity with their team in Rockland County. In this role, the Psychiatrist will be responsible fordiagnosing, treating, and preventing mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.

Hours:Standard business

Setting: Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)Responsibilities:

The Psychiatristwill:

Conduct psychiatric evaluations to diagnose mental disorders

Develop and implement treatment plans,including prescription of psychotropic medications

Monitor and evaluate treatment results

Provide psychotherapy,also known as talk therapy

Educate patients and their families about mental illness and treatment options

Perform other duties, as neededQualifications:

Licensed to practice Psychiatry in the State of New York
